First Canadian, Harpal Dhaliwal, Recipient of prestigious Maulana Azad PuraskarHarpal Dhaliwal, Chairman, EICC (Education Invention Centre of Canada) received the very prestigious Maulana Azad Puraskar, awarded by the All India National Unity Conference for Educational Upliftment in the Indian capital New Delhi on National Education Day 11th November, 2012 to honor the celebration of the 124th Birth Anniversary of India’s first Education Minister after India’s Independence.

He was selected ahead of 30 eminent educational experts from around the world for his contribution to pioneering, developing and making operational the Canadian education programs availability to students in India, Canadian educational institutions’ tie up with Indian educational institutions, facilitating Indian students studying in Canadian educational institutions and initiating a pioneering by bringing a degree granting Canadian educational institution into his Canadian hometown of Brampton. It capitulates a memorable week for the former resident of Punjab, India as he becomes the first Canadian recipient of this highly respected education award.
